How to Sign Up and Verify Your DDSC Account?

Introduction

This article explains how to create your DDSC account, verify your email, and complete the initial KYC so you can start sending and receiving DDSC safely.

Step-by-Step: Sign Up & Initial KYC

  1. Open the DDSC app

    Launch the DDSC app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap “Create a New Wallet” On the welcome screen


  3. Enter your email address
    • Type your email address.
    • Make sure it’s an email you have access to, as you will receive a verification code.\
    • Click on "Send Verification Code"



  4. Enter the email verification code
    • Check your email inbox for a message from DDSC.
    • Copy or note the verification code.
    • Return to the app and enter the code in the verification field.
    • Tap Verify.



  5. Create a password
    • Choose a strong password (follow the on-screen requirements).
    • Confirm the password if prompted.
    • Tap Continue / Next.



  6. Start initial KYC (identity verification)

    Once your email is verified, you will be prompted to complete initial KYC:
    • Tap Start Verification.


    • Select your country of residency 
    • Select the type of government-issued document you want to use:
      • National ID
      • Passport
      • Driving license
      • (or other supported documents shown in the app)



  7. Scan your document
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your chosen document.
    • Ensure all details are clear and readable (no glare or blur).
    • Confirm and submit.



  8. Wait for verification
    • The system will review your information.
    • You may see a status such as “Under Review”.



  9. Account verified notification
    • Once approved, you will receive a notification in the app (and/or email) that your account is verified.
    • After this, you can start sending and receiving DDSC
